Good to know.

Anything else? Write to support@kesru.com.

Do callers know they're talking to an AI?

Yes. It introduces itself as a virtual assistant and mentions that the call may be transcribed. If someone asks whether it's a real person, it always answers truthfully.

Can I keep my phone number?

Yes. Choose your carrier during setup for supported forwarding codes or official provider instructions. You can forward only the calls you don't answer.

What if it doesn't know the answer?

It doesn't guess. It takes the caller's name, number and what they need, and you get it right away.

What happens to my customers' data?

No audio recordings are kept. Transcripts and summaries are stored for your account and deleted after 90 days. Your data is never used to train AI models.

Which languages does it speak?

English and German. You choose the conversation language per business.

How are minutes counted?

Only the time your receptionist is on a call, rounded up to the full minute per call. Calls you answer yourself cost nothing.

Can I cancel?

Cancel renewal anytime in your billing portal. Monthly plans run for one month; yearly plans are prepaid for one year and include two months free. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid period.

Does it work with my carrier?

Your line needs to support forwarding to a US number. Choose your mobile carrier or business phone system during setup. We show documented codes where supported and official provider instructions for other systems; your provider can confirm availability for your plan.

Can it handle emergencies?

It flags urgent requests in your work orders. Live transfer is awaiting our phone provider's outbound approval. Kesru is not an emergency service and does not replace 911.

Can I set up several businesses?

Yes. Each business gets its own knowledge, voice and line. After logging in, choose from the businesses your login gives you access to.

Can I add documents and my own rules?

Yes. Upload price lists or FAQs (PDF, Word, text) and write rules like "Always ask for the address." Callers only hear what you approved.

What happens to my voicemail?

Forwarding replaces the forwarding to your voicemail. If you turn forwarding off later, switch your voicemail back on with your carrier.
